The Mandate

Hatwit International is conducting an Executive Search mandate for a Global Business Process & Automation Manager for a well-established international industrial organisation.

The company is progressing through an important phase of operational and digital transformation, with the ambition to build a more structured, scalable and integrated approach to automation across the organisation.

Within this context, the role will help shape how automation is prioritised, governed and embedded across functions, moving from isolated initiatives toward a more coherent enterprise capability.

The Role

The role combines business transformation, automation strategy, governance and enterprise integration.

It requires someone able to connect business priorities with technology capabilities, challenge existing ways of working and create the structures, standards and decision frameworks needed to scale automation sustainably.

The Leadership Mandate

Define and drive the global automation strategy and roadmap.
Establish governance, standards and clear ownership across automation initiatives.
Shape a more consistent operating model for business process transformation.
Identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation and reuse across functions.
Translate business priorities into scalable automation solutions.
Prioritise initiatives based on business value, scalability and long-term sustainability.
Build alignment across business, technology and operational stakeholders.

Leadership Profile

We are looking for a senior professional combining transformation capability, automation expertise and strong business judgement.

The relevant profile should bring experience across areas such as Business Transformation, Automation Strategy, Process Excellence, Enterprise Systems, Integration and Governance.

Experience in international industrial or manufacturing organisations, Global Business Services / Shared Services, Management Consulting, IT Outsourcing or enterprise technology environments would be highly relevant.

The role requires someone who can operate across functions and geographies, create structure in complex environments and influence senior stakeholders around a common transformation agenda.

We are looking for a profile able to move comfortably between strategy, operating model, process transformation and technology, and to turn automation into a scalable enterprise capability rather than a collection of individual initiatives.
