The Mandate

Hatwit International is conducting an Executive Search mandate for a Finance Manager for a well-established international industrial organisation with manufacturing operations across multiple countries.

The company is progressing through an important phase of operational and finance transformation, with increasing focus on stronger performance management, process standardisation and SAP-enabled ways of working.

The Role

The Finance Manager will act as the key finance partner to the plant leadership team, combining controlling, planning, reporting and performance analysis with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.

The role requires someone able to translate financial information into practical business insight, support operational decision-making and contribute actively to the ongoing finance and systems transformation.

The Leadership Mandate

Lead finance and controlling activities at plant level.
Ensure robust budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring.
Analyse manufacturing costs, variances and operational drivers.
Support plant management with financial insight and decision support.
Strengthen cost transparency, financial discipline and accountability.
Support SAP-based finance and controlling processes and related transformation.
Ensure alignment with Group finance standards.

Leadership Profile

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP is essential, ideally including exposure to ERP implementation, rollout or finance-process transformation.

The relevant profile should bring solid experience across plant controlling, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and operational performance analysis, together with strong business partnering capability.

For this mandate, we are particularly interested in professionals from international manufacturing and industrial organisations where finance is closely integrated with operations.

The strongest profiles will combine technical finance depth, strong SAP exposure, operational understanding and the ability to act as a credible business partner to plant management.
